Academic Eligibility
If you are on academic suspension you may choose one of the options below:
- You may enroll at Appalachian State University only during the summer terms in an attempt to reach a cumulative grade-point average that places you back in good academic standing (2.0 or above). Once your cumulative grade-point average reaches 2.0 or above, you will then be permitted to continue enrolling in future terms at App State.
- Any former App State student that has not attempted any courses at App State for a minimum of one (1) calendar year (including summer terms) may apply for readmission under the Academic Renewal Policy. Eligibility for readmission under the Academic Renewal Policy is determined by App State. Please review our website for additional details on Renewal Policies.
